How to determine your Ring Size

1. Measure a Ring You Already Own
Use a ruler to measure the inner diameter (in mm) of a ring that fits well. Match this measurement to our European size chart to find your closest size.

2. Use a Strip of Paper or String
Wrap a strip of paper or a thin piece of string snugly around the base of your finger. Mark where the ends meet and measure the length in millimetres. Use our sizing chart to determine your corresponding ring size.

THOMAS SABO specifies the ring sizes by the inner circumference of the ring in millimetre (mm). For example size 44 corresponds to 44 mm.

Top Tips for Measuring Ring Size

Measure at Different Times of Day
Finger size naturally fluctuates due to temperature, activity, and hydration. For the most reliable result, measure your finger several times throughout the day and use the average.

When in Doubt, Size Up
A ring that’s slightly too large is always better than one that’s too tight. This ensures comfort and helps avoid the risk of the ring becoming stuck.

Finding Out Someone Else’s Ring Size

Check Their Jewellery Box
If they already wear rings, borrow one that fits the intended finger and measure the inner diameter. This can provide a close estimate.

How to determine your Bracelet Size

  1. The bracelet sizing corresponds with the circumference of the wrist - e.g. L15 (15.cm), L19v (14 - 19cm)
  2. You can easily determine your own bracelet size using a tape measure or a string. To measure, place the string (or tape measure) around your wrist. The ends of the string should be marked.
  3. You can then use the ruler to measure the marked string and get your wrist circumference.Â
