Link Bracelets

Thomas Sabo link bracelets are built from connected metal links, which gives them more structure and weight than a fine chain. They come in sterling silver and gold-toned finishes, in different link sizes and styles. Some are designed to hold charms, so they double as a base you can build on over time, while others stand well on their own.

Finer link bracelets are easy to wear daily and read understated. Heavier links sit with more presence and make more of a statement. If you collect charms, a sturdy link bracelet gives them something solid to hang from. The link style also tends to drape and move differently to a plain chain, sitting with a bit more substance on the wrist.

Getting the fit right

Link bracelets fit best measured properly:

  • Measure your wrist and add roughly 1.5–2cm for comfort.
  • Heavier bracelets sit a little lower, so allow some extra room.
  • Check the clasp suits how you'll fasten it one-handed.

Care

Sterling silver darkens over time, which a soft polishing cloth fixes. Store link bracelets apart so they don't scratch, keep them dry to slow tarnishing, and take them off for heavy tasks where the links might catch. Gold-toned finishes last longer kept away from friction and chemicals.

Styling and gifting

Link size and charms

Heavier links give a charm bracelet more to hang from and hold their shape better under the weight, while finer links keep things light for everyday wear. If you plan to add charms over time, choose a sturdier link style from the start so it carries them comfortably as the collection grows.

A link bracelet works on its own or as a base for charms, so it suits someone starting a collection. As a gift it's flexible — they can add charms later — and the adjustable-by-length fit is fairly forgiving. We ship Australia-wide and Afterpay is available at checkout.
